I opened my eyes, to the blaring morning sun, despite it being sunny outside, it was freezing in my room. For the past couple of weeks a had been sleeping at friends houses, and friends of my parents. This was the first and last morning, I would wake up in my room, since my sixteenth birthday.

My parents were both born and raised in the suburbs, of New York. Not quite sure where, there was the past and was meant to stay there they would say. They grew up on the same neighbourhood, walked to school together and then eventully hand in hand to university. My father majored in Law, my mother in primary education, soon after they graduated, they married. Theres used to be pictures all over the house, of that special day and it was obvious, my mum espeicially, that they missed there family. Now, all pictures, books, videos, DVDs and electricals were packed up and in storage. Twenty years ago, my dad got a chance to move here to england to work for one of the biggest law firms in London, and they ttok the chance despite the fact, that my grandparents, swore that would never speak again. Two years later I was born.

Theres not much left to know, after that. The day after my seventeenth birthday, everything changed.
