Navigation help

Basic link code

'a href=' is the link you want to go to.

'target=' is whether you want it in a frame, in another window or in the same window etc.

To direct your link into a iFrame, you have to put the iFrame name in the 'target' like target="updates", or your link would open in another window.

When using iFrames, making a navigation bar is pretty easy, make a new page and call it 'nav.html', then insert the codes that you need to add to every page, found in 'codes'.

The first link would be to home, so for this you would put...

this link makes the page refresh, everytime it is clicked

The next link would be to designs, (lets say), so for this when using iFrames, calling your iFrame 'updates'

<a href="/designs.html" target="updates">Designs</a>

And you would carry on...

You should remember, when using iFrames for your nav and for the updates that the links should correspond to your chosen, frame eg. in the index.html, you nav iFrame should be called 'nav' and the 'src', should be called nav.html, likewise with the updates, call the updates-updates.html and then add this to the src
